Comfort Inn was right off the freeway, close to the Twin Cities in MN. We mostly used the fantastic pool. We did go to White Bear Lake to walk around 'cuz it was such a beautiful fall day. We ate at Perkins because kids could eat free on Saturday. Had a wonderful stay for MEA weekend without driving out of town.

The hotel seemed a little dirty in the hallways.

The hotel seemed a little dirty in the hallways. The room was clean except the carpet is old and should be replaced. The water slide was fun for my kids. We were only there for one night, so it met our needs for our trip. I wouldn’t stay here for more than a night or two.

Loved the pool. No pool towels, had to go to front desk.

Loved the pool. No pool towels, had to go to front desk. They gave you what they had, sometimes bath towels. This left rooms short towels, again went to front desk as we went out for the day. They did have them as we returned, however no one came to the room to get dirty towels. Room keys did not always work, this was a problem a few times, again requiring a trip to the front desk. The elevator broke down, so all the trips to front desk were several stairs. As a disabled person, the stairs were difficult and check out was dangerous taking luggage down. Breakfast was if you got there early you may have had some hot, otherwise they ran out. So to recap, they need to spend some money and fix or better maintain this facility, buy some towels, have housekeeping staff, and put some effort into there hot breakfast! At least the pool was pleasant and working, clean.

The policy for not allowing people other than registered guests should be shown on internet site as I had invited my children and grandchildren to visit the pool. I would not have done that if I had known the policy beforehand.
